ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER!

Francene (Fran) Johnson is a wife and mother of three beautiful children. She is an on-location photographer and loves what she does! She has been shooting since she was a young girl and started out shooting landscapes and doing photo shoots on her children, children's ball games and now see the passion her children has for photography as well.

Fran prefers to shoot in natural lighting and does that within the city of Joplin. Fran was born and raised in Ohio and went to NEO Jr. College and earned a full track scholarship. She was recently inducted into the Lorain County Track & Cross-Country Hall of Fame in Ohio and coaches track during the Spring season at a local private school. So, don't be nervous if your children starts to run during the shoots. Fran can handle them (smiles).

Fran has been shooting on a semi-pro level for about three years and has taken a photography course at MSSU and attended seminars. She loves to use brick buildings, old, weathered doors and unique locations to shoot at and welcome any locations any of her clients may want to shoot at.

Fran enjoys music, loves the color green, candy corn, loves looking at new paint colors, visiting the camera shops and enjoys a mini get-away to either Kansas City or Arkansas for a weekend.

Fran enjoys shooting with her Canon 50D camera and enjoys her favorite lense, the Canon 70-200 2.8 with others that she likes as well.
